I try to keep an open mind with everything so might give HOTD another try in the future. I can see why it brought back nostalgia for some, it's just...all I can remember is a girl walking about a big house with a walkman for 75 minutes doing nothing and then a hokey, derivative ending that looked out of whack with the rest of the movie.

Turns out a lot of these Warner Bros. rereleases with slipcases are films I've been meaning to see for an age. Thanks to HMVs 5 for £30 offer I ended up with some more, plus Jaws!

Happy to finally have this. Found it at my local Record Shop. Also ashamed to admit I never had this one on blu already...

Features look to be pretty good.

I don't think it's been on Blu yet, so no need to feel ashamed

Arrow Video's Black Sabbath just arrived, along with the BD re-release of the first 10 Star Trek films.

I just don't get the love for Star Trek, find it dull and boring my friend was watching one episode from the latest one Star Trek next generation or something, And I sat there with him when it finished he said I enjoyed that episode I was sat there baffled why just NOTHING AT ALL happened, people just wandering around talking and that's it, if that happened in a film etc then it would be classed as rubbish dull boring etc.

Because a series has time to develop its characters which you eventually invest in. So what may seem talky to you - someone who doesn't watch the show, and knows nothing of the history of these characters - is actually quite interesting to other people.

I'm not a Star Trek fan either, but the same principle applies to any series.
