Upgraded from this (Sony Ericsson T-65):

to this (Nokia N97 Mini):

Total cost 5 Euro, thanks to one coming in (boxed!) at work.

Here's a crappy pic I made of it:

Am planning on adding some films to watch while I'm on my way home after work.

Yeah, as I said in that post..

I also have great love for Pascal Laugier's debut, Saint Ange (House of Voices) which is an excellent haunted orphanage film with almost Fulciesque elements in places.
It's a very understated film, and a ghost story, so I'd even recommend it to those that didn't get on with Martyrs as it's beautifully shot and acted.

Aah sorry, you seemed to be doing a chapter a film, and didn't read the one with Martyrs in the first few words.

I'm not sure I was even aware of this film! Will have to seek it out. I imagine A l'Interieur on the big screen is quite an experience Bet the FrightFest crowd lapped it up . . .

Does this mean we're no longer retro Ericsson phone buddies, Bruno?!

Shell shocked is the word. It was the last film of an all-nighter, playing sometime in the early hours in a smaller, more intimate screen, so everyone was half awake/half asleep while watching this intense film which somehow made the experience more dreamlike (at least it was like that for me and my four companions). It was great; no cheers or whoops form the audience, but the stunned compliance of a sleepy audience suddenly being jolted awake and put through the wringer. There was no boisterousness when we exited the cinema to the bright early hours sunshine of a near deserted West End, just a bunch of blinking people nodding at each other and commenting on what an incredible film they'd just witnessed.

I'll never forget it and it was one of the best cinema experiences I've ever had.

I think it was time to upgrade for me as the long commute to and from work without any entertainment was getting on my nerves sometimes.

Still Keeping my Ericsson as a backup though.

Oh that's cool. There are films that can be spoiled by that festival whooping. It was great for Troll Hunter, but sort of spoiled Kill List, when the shocking and brutal hammer attack was accompanied by laughing and cheering . . .

Another early release from Arrow. The Car arrived today. Here's hoping we might see Runaway Train next week.
