Father's Day is a lot of fun - if you're into those kind of films Dem. The final segments in hell are really something else.

Hopefully you'll enjoy your 'Nu-Cronenberg' duo too.

I picked up Father's Day up on your recommendation.

I have no real expectations of Cosmopolis.

I love LA set films such as Laurel Canyon, Mulholland Drive and Two Days in the Valley, which i'm sure Maps to the Stars is nothing like but...

Finally i've never seen Cujo. I've caught bits of it, mainly a woman and child prisoner in a car with a big angry dog outside but that's it.

Cujo is part of my New Years Resolution to make sure i buy more classic horror's this year to catch up a little on things i've missed.

Maps to the Stars does have a mild Mulholland Drive like vibe to it, whilst it's worth a look it's certainly not one of Cronenberg's best. Ditto Cosmopolis, although I did enjoy that a little more than Maps (possibly because it's slightly 'weirder').

I'm not a fan of Cujo myself, however hopefully you'll enjoy it and kudos in reference to the classic horror resolution.

Not straight up horror as such but from recent posts on here I know you've yet to check out Targets - something I'd highly recommend.

It's been a slow start but so far the classic horror has been The Last House on Dead End Street, The Beast in the Cellar and now Cujo.

Targets i will look out for. Karloff is always worth a watch and a purchase no matter what.

I don't think Diary of a Lost Girl counts as classic horror but it certainly is classic. Seeing as you brought Louise Brooks up, here she is.

Grabbed these two in HMV this morning with a voucher, I was hoping for A Touch of Zen but still no such luck.
