Got the full 5 hour cut of Red Cliff on blu-ray for a fiver!

Only caught bits of it on tv before, and it looked amazing, so looking forward to the full blu effect.

I don't mind him, but he's not Lex Luthor. I was more than willing to give him a chance mind but he just plays it all wrong. I expect Lex to be serious and level headed even in his villainy. Both Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey played the character as an ultimately evil businessman. Eisenberg is all twitchy nervous energy.

Yes he played him quite well, gave the character a bit of depth and humanity, although i suspect he owed a lot to the writing of the show which early on was very good. I never did watch the whole of Smallville though. Just dragged too much in the end.

Still miles away from being the worlds greatest detective, but as you said he did more in that regards than the other films. But the best portrayal of the Bat is still the animated series.
