I'm sure the SF release will be a worthy upgrade for some but I'm happy enough with the UK release for now - not least of all because I got it for about £6 in one of Zavvi's frequent sales.

This is pretty bad, but I think I have the German blu-ray with that art. I'll have to check. How embarrassing that I'm not sure if I already have it. [emoji23]

The UK Amaray version is the same as that, it's the one I have at home, it's probably the same disc as it was Studio Canal also :)

Great buy, CB.

Bronson and Winner go west. In a violent way of course.

I notice that release of Chato's Land says PG on the back. That's the heavily cut version if so.

No cuts as such, but this is the 'PG' rated US version. In the R1, 'the indian squaw rape scene' has the woman wrapped in a blanket, while in the 'International' version the woman is totally naked. The R1 version is also missing the scene where the indian squaw is forcibly stripped. It also has heavy cuts to the scene, where the old man is being burnt (at approx 59:00 min) and his subsequent 'mercy killing' by Jack Palance. The killing of Simon Oakland with a rock was trimmed, along with a C-U of a bullet wound to Ralph Waite's hand.

Hopefully they've just put the incorrect cert on the back.

Okay, I'm confused! Is it cut or not? :)

Only someone who's watched it can really tell us.

I'd hazard a guess going off the run time that it's uncut and a mistake with the certification. Unrated is the common rating  for these type of films.

It is totally uncut, apparently. Read several reviews for the disc, including Blu-ray.com forum.

Got this dual format Bond for a paltry £2.50 (w/slipcase) in CEX, I have a good TV dvdr off freeview but too good to pass up.
