I actually tried watching the 3D theatrical version straight after (yeah, I'm sad that way), but I missed the extra stuff from the longer version.
That's interesting to read.

I didn't see it at the cinema because I was busy with assignments, and sadly it isn't available to rent from Lovefilm/Amazon. However, I don't think I am interested enough to buy it, so hopefully it will be available to rent sooner rather than later and, when it is, I shall just watch the extended version.

The extra footage does help the film, and with regard to the added Jimmy Olsen footage in the ultimate edition (and without spoiling anything), the only reason anyone really knew it was him in the theatrical cut, is because Zack Snyder told us in interviews.

I didn't read anything about the film when it was in cinemas as I was hoping to see it without any expectations and a completely open mind – I also didn't have time – and haven't caught up on what I missed since then, so I will be able to watch both versions without any preconceptions.

Checked out Zombie Holocaust. The restoration is a slight improvement over 88's but anyone claiming the trasfer 'blows 88's out the water' is probably guilty of a little hyperbole. Factor in the extras and the reinstated scene and its a definite must buy and worth choosing over 88's release just dont expect miracles from the transfer. I've already seen one or two grumbles on Facebook.

Well i wont be asking for a review, like over 95% of mainstream Hollywood Blockbusters i wont be seeing or having a interest in,
Last film that wowed me enough to cinema was Raid 2.

i'm just hoping its better than batman vs superman, which won't be too hard, but i'm not holding my breath

edit

been looking at the reviews and all i can say is OUCH as its supposed to be worse than fantastic four. at this point despite the good trailer i have little faith in wonder woman or any other DC movie coming out

The Telegraph thinks it's - 'Suicide Squad review: crushingly puerile comic-book pornography'.

Hell! what's the Mail going to say?

Empire gives it four stars. Typical of their selling out to push every studio comic book film.
