Nothing chases the blues away like a nice dose of British horror (at least in my experience). Here is a list of my favourites. I'm not sure what you've seen / haven't seen, like / don't like etc. so apologies in advance if it's a wasted exercise.
Good list there ..
Peeping tom and twisted nerve are great psychological horror films.

Tower of Evil has been on my 'to watch' list for a long time, so maybe it's time to line it up.

Can anyone remember a similarly named horror that has a lighthouse in it with Shelley Winters? I think that was the first horror film that i caught a taster of as a young boy and corrupted me. Never known what film it is - would be nice to have a bit of nostalgia over it.

I haven't seen it, but the title and artwork makes it the most likely candidate to feature a lighthouse at some point.

I have it and don't recall any lighthouse in it.

There are several Winter's Old Dark House type films knocking about. Wonder if Deadite's mind was playing tricks. None of them have a title remotely like Tower of Evil though.

Who knows, i'm operating through a morphine haze at the moment, so none of it might be accurate!
