Thanks.

I saw the Oliver Reed musical over Christmas and really liked that so was interested in a straight drama production from the BBC after seeing others like Bleak House and Dickensian which were both excellent.

I received these three boxsets from Music Magpie today, two of them were in the 2 for £5 section and the other was about £3.30.

The reason The Adventures of Tintin looks a bit crappy in the photograph is because it has a lenticular cover.

Found this online. Not cheap but much cheaper than any existing DVD collections. It appears to be in SD but on blu-ray to include more episodes per disc. Not ideal perhaps as the show would have been animated on film cells so could go HD but in my experience older shows can look ok on DVD. Its over 160 episodes long so if its on fewer discs it may end up being easier to store. The animated film is coming soon and apparently that will be HD. Either way I've been a geek for this series since getting episodes and the film on VHS back when anime first started hitting these shores.
