Me neither. Duck Soup is certainly a well known film as is Monkey Business.

Today... lunchtime... £2.50 (the IP Man 2disc were 99p each in Oxfam so will replace my Film4 rips) and Jerk was 50p from Cancer Research, and still had enough for a cuppa.

(Marx Bros rock by the way...)

Now that's more like it. The songs I can take or leave (excluding Hail Freedonia! ) but these are a cut above that other lot

I hope you enjoy them. Prepare yourself for films which set out with the structure only to have it completely destroyed by the four main male characters! Animal Crackers and Horse Feathers show they are based on vaudeville stage shows because of the musical numbers and lack of structure. Monkey Business and Duck Soup, a film I consider one of the greatest comedies, you are much more tightly directed.

If you like that said, I recommend the Warner Home Video Marx Brothers Collection with A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races, both excellent films, as well as At the Circus, Go West, The Big Store and A Night in Casablanca – these are lesser Marx Brothers films, but all still funny.
