I picked up the SUPERMAN Anthology today in ASDA for £29.99

Saw pictures of that yesterday - looks like the discs don't have the film titles labelled on them (as is the case with a few Warner Brother's box sets like the Dirty Harry one). Confusing!

Either they don't have the rights to release it in Ireland, or it's an 18 over there, in which case they're not allowed to put it on.

You can order US releases from Amazon UK with postage a lot cheaper than ordering from the US site.

There are some items which Amazon.co.uk don't stock and I'm used to ordering from there. Next time I'll check before ordering from Amazon.com, so thanks to the tip.

They AREN'T labelled right enough Paul.
You have to read the microscopic copyright writing on the bottom of the disc.

Warner are currently all on LSD.

No worries. Postage is about £1.26 for US discs I think.

Oddly enough the same Superman dvd box set makes it incredibly clear which disc is for which film.

What's the Superman set like, PQ-wise? Could be up for an upgrade when it lowers in price (even though the dvd tin was a birthday gift from friends and I always feel odd upgrading when it comes to gifts)

I've ordered loads from Marketplace, where shipping is £1.26, but there is a limit to their range -- I don't know if they will ship things like the Citizen Kane ultimate collector's BD box set, which is out in September.

Haven't checked it out yet-that's for a Sunday afternoon!
Warner are usually sound though.

Talking of Sunday's,last 7th days viewings included;
BATTLE OF BRITAIN
WHERE EAGLES DARE
MAN ON FIRE

and all looked superb!

Fox's treatment of Battle is nothing short of shocking though.
Scene selection only-no main menu-WTF?

Amazon.com, which is weird because I've had several parcels over the £18 threshold from them recently which HMRC didn't bother with.

Jesus-don't order from Amazon!

They put the true value on the label!!

I was caught out with Tenebre and Phenomena years ago.
Thing is,the bulk of that 13 quid will be the Royal mail.
