just bought these 2 from Amazon Germany

Neverending Story is the remastered extended version only previously released in Germany and I haven't seen Flesh + Blood since having it on video tape back in the day (although I clearly remember liking something about it)

Almost forgot, I also got this one which is probably the only Clint western I've not seen before, thought I'd take the risk as I like most of his other efforts.

Any opinions on this one?

What keirarts said.

One of Clint's very best films. It's a perfect blend of Western and Horror.

What's the Chucky packaging like? Digipack?, Amaray with the same art? Or individual cases?

Edit: Never mind! Saw the photo's on blu-ray.com.

Had to stop by the Post Office Parcels place as the lazy dipstick of a postie watched my missus go out and then tried to deliver yesterday. In the package was :

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...UL._SX385_.jpg

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Nntx5WqwL.jpg

AND

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...L._SL1070_.jpg

The colouring book is for my little girl's birthday next month. "House" is my first MoC purchase and I'm already impressed without seeing it! As for "Cabal", I've waited at least 20 years to watch "Nightbreed" again and even though there's talk of a reissue I couldn't wait any longer thanks to Rik and his sig! :mmph:

Takeshi Kintaro is one of my daughter's favourite actors (and, I have to admit, mine too). A few years ago we found a little plastic money box in a charity shop for fifty pence. It was a tacky give away thing in the shape of a "lucky waving cat" but with Takeshi's face. I insisted we buy it for her and she gushed over it for about an hour, it is still one of her most prized possessions.
Go figure, eh?

Random pic from cash gen for a quid. Anyone seen this? I'd never heard of it before but the description on the back makes it sound awsome. Sort of a mix of horror and crime thriller. Sort of like kill list but I doubt its as good as that. Taking my lass to see the call this afternoon so will probably watch it later in the evening.

Ive found some straight to DVD films very good - that could have easily been in a cinema release

Just a couple of arrivals this week, expecting a couple more next week but no more ordering for me for a long time, unless I come into some money.... or there is a really good offer on. Oh an there are still quite a few pre-orders but they don't count :pout:

I agree. I think the straight to video market has always had some unearthed gems. Tragically the majors have a stranglehold on a lot of cinema chains (certainly where I live they do) and a lot of films end up on home video. The real danger is if everyone adopts netflix and the sheer volume of titles out there ends up drowning out minor gems.... Personally i'm quite looking forward to this one.

Just picking one film out Pedro.

I really like The Tailor of Panama. It came out in the midst of Brosnan's Bond tenure and showed a completely different side to the spy game. A film full of fine performances and a rare foray into directing for John Boorman. It was only his fifth film since 85's The Emerald Forest.

Hope you like it.

Yeah i've never seen it but i'd heard good things, Boorman is a cracking film maker mind, so hoping it's a good'un, it was 99p in a Charity shop too.

That mad max box set was somewhat disappointing. None of the extras from the R1 special edition and I thought the Aussie soundtrack was poor quality.
