Given you're so admirably pedantic when it comes to original artwork.
How can having Phantom Kommando stamped across the cover not bother you??

Still says Commando on there. I'll tell you what bothers me more, companies changing the font. The spine there bothers me more than having it called Phantom Kommando. :D

They're generally pretty quick.

Their customer service is apparently atrocious, although I've luckily never had any problems where I have needed to use it so far.

Cheers maybe that was a question I should of asked before hand. Happy enough they didn't charge postage so that's a bonus.

I don't think I've had a problem but, if I have, it's only been minor and I've forgotten about it. Generally though, I'd never hesitate to order from them.

J Harker 8th May 2015 07:52 AM

I've used Zavvi loads and only ever had one issue with them. As B-eye said unfortunately their customer service is quite poor.
But they are usually very quick to deliver.

Sorry mate, that Phantom Kommando looks ridiculous. I don't see how it can be called original artwork if its got the wrong title.

And I respect your opinion. Title doesn't bother me, it's not the wrong title in Germany. I didn't realise I had to mean English stuff when I talked about original artwork. :D

Suppose that's a fair point mate. I wasn't criticising you, i didn't actually mean when you talked about original artwork. I meant when the product itself states original artwork on reverse, to my mind original artwork has to have the original title in whatever language the film was made.
I also couldn't deal with having the synopsis or taglines written in a foreign language. I like being able to read them. Why i wouldn't buy a release from France, Germany, etc.
I don't often buy US or Australian stuff either but i will if its clearly a better release.

This month MTDS suggested a new theme for the members review club and i chose to review the award winning film 'Forbidden Games' but first i needed to buy it. Studio Canal released this newly remastered version recently so i snapped it up at just under £10.

Given the election results I expect class to be a documentary some time soon.

ABSOLUTELY ATTROCIOUS!

Automated emails every time.

I ordered a Sleepy Hollow steelbook which they didn't have enough of and got NO explanation-just an automated Nick Clegg we're sorry.

They sell unlimited amounts to fleabay pirates instead of limiting to one or two per customer.

I only use them now if I REALLY want an exclusive steely.

No, since it was announced, The Terminator cover never said it was reversible, and no websites ever said it would be either. I just took a chance.
