Lawdy. Even though I detest .... one of those duos .... that is a bargain and a half. Kudos.

Think the biggest problem with them, they seemed too try to hard in there roles of straight man/ comic relief and came of a bit forced, while the other two it was natural and were like a well oiled machine- hence why the greatest comic duo of all time.

It's tough to argue with that, though I do like a couple of Abbott and Costello sketches. Other great comedy duos which come to mind are the two Ronnies, Morecambe and Wise, French and Saunders, Ade Edmondson and Rik Mayall, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, and Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn.

- Great to good performances by the little girl, Toby Jones and Levine. - Some really cool imagery (e.g when the boat is leaving) - Fresh ideas (really enjoyed the horror movie feel of bits of the film, like at the mansion. Sure the characters make dumb decisions (Levine I am looking at you) but this was never going to be Schindler's List or let's be honest, come close to the original (people made pretty dumb decision in that too so I really don't get people who criticise this one for it) It captured more of the magic of the original than Jurassic World did I think and was most important of all, very fun and like the original Jurassic Park had a bit of suspense! I never really found the first Jurassic World fun at all. I give it a 8/10. |

There is also ..MEET THE KILLER, ..MEET THE INVISIBLE MAN,..MEET DR JEYKLL, ..MEET THE MUMMY So even if the other films in the set you find you don't get on with, you have these horror comedies to fill your Universal monster needs. |
