In other words you thought of a load of stuff i hadn't considered, well that's my list screwed.

Well you've got two films left on your list, so i'd have kept my mouth shut personally.

People with schizophrenia don't actually have split personalities. That's a common misperception. They just hear voices if the required medication isn't administered. I feel fully qualified to make this point as I do actually have schizophrenia and have fortnightly injections for it.

Portmanteau/anthology films.

Further to the discussion previously. Pulp fiction is very much a Portmanteau film. Tarantino was inspired by novels where characters would carry over into different stories. Centrefold girls is an interesting one as well as each victim works as its own separate story.

In Creepshow etc the linking story is separate. There isn't a framing story to Trick r' Treat. If there is, which one is it? Characters move in and out of all the tales. All the events interlink and all take place in the same evening. You can't suggest the likes of Vault of Horror do the same.

I'm not sure you lot have watched Trick r Treat recently.
I admit it's been over a year, but I remember distinct stories involving different themes, families and other assorted. On Wikipedia it says about the film that "It centers on four Halloween-related horror stories. One common element that ties the stories together is the presence of Sam, a mysterious child trick-or-treater wearing shabby orange footie pajamas with a burlap sack over his head, who makes an appearance in all the stories whenever a character breaks Halloween traditions."

For me, that is enough to put it into the anthology rather than hyperlink category, but if you feel different than you are more than welcome to leave it off your list!

I didn't think you'd have to quote Wiki to get your argument across, Nos. I watch it every year and know it like the back of my hand.

To be honest the Wiki quote is right that Sam ties the stories together but as you watch it, for example we see Dylan Baker with the greedy kid on the porch then it cuts to the werewolf girls trying costumes on, back to Baker and the kid, it doesn't play like here's a link, then a fifteen minute story, then back to a link. When it wants to move things along a comic book page appears and says something like 'Earlier that evening'.
