Which is the reason they were allowed to put the irish certs on covers too. Seen a few dvds in my time that had an irish cert sticker placed over the UK one.

Ah, good, it's about time this got released - and on Blu-ray no less! A stunning film that really anticipates the reality TV phenomenon that was to come. Very prophetic in that regard. This is a film I highly recommend.

Death Watch [Blu-ray] [1980]: Amazon.co.uk: Romy Schneider, Harvey Keitel, Harry Dean Stanton, Max Von Sydow, Bertrand Tavernier: Film & TV

Killing of guard by the mute woman: entry & withdrawal of knife, blood spurt are all cut.
Lift scene at end: McClane shooting and the resulting blood sprays on his face are cut. US version is graphically extended including one man getting his head blown off and his body slumping on top of John. This is why John is on the floor when he crawls out of the lift door and is soaked in blood.
Chain fight between McClane & Russian: One chain-hit has been cut.
Dialogue cut for language eg "**** you Joe" becomes "Go away Joe"

I'm happy w/ my uncut BBC1 recording!
Though you would of thought after all these years Disney/Buena Vista etc should of released this excellent sequel uncut on dvd/bd by now.....

I thought it had been confirmed that the blu-ray release in the new boxset was uncut?
