Absolutely B.E. PSYCHO is a timeless classic. It's gonna look gorgeous in B&W HD.

Psycho scares me. Universal haven't done too well with some of their catalogue titles and this is one i NEED them to get right.

I don't think the R2 Universal Pictures DVD is too bad and I'm actually quite impressed with the picture. It won't be a patch on the BD, which is why I've pre-ordered it!

I have the last R1 dvd and it looks fine but they've been a bit liberal with the DNR and edge enhancement on some of their older catalogue when it comes to BD.

I hope this isn't the case here as, going by all the extra features, it should be a terrific release of one of my all-time favourite horror films.

Will this version of Psycho be the extended/restored version?

That's great news isn't it! I hope A Fistful of Dynamite, & Once Upon A Time In the West follow.

Once Upon a Time in the West is one that I really want on Blu-ray, I actually prefer this over Leone's Dollars Trilogy. Once Upon a Time in America is another leone I really want on Blu-ray, as after The Godftaher 1 & 2, this is one of the greatest gangster movies ever made (IMO). Morricone's score is heartbreaking and perfectly suits the film, too.

Once Upon A Time In The West is the greatest film ever made and every day it remains unreleased on Blu-Ray is another day closer to my sanity finally going!

I've probably mentioned this before, but I really can't do it Once upon a Time in the West and Once upon a Time in America as they are both truly great films with terrific direction, acting and score. I would dearly love to have them both on BD and hope that it won't be too long before they are available to buy.
