Unfortunately it's being released by a company called 'mediumrare' who have not got a good track record where decent transfers are concerned.

That said, the US Tokyo Shock Blu of Riki-Oh is little more than an upscale job, so this may turn out to be the best presentation of the film released so far. We'll have to wait and see...

I'm wondering how the the other Meduimrare discs will compare to the US counterparts released by Scream Factory.

"Final Cut Entertainment will release a special UK BluRay edition of Tobe Hooper's INVADERS FROM MARS on 13/07/15
Tobe felt he had exhausted himself on this for the US edition, but we've still notched up 90 minutes of brand new UK content.

Here's the newly created extras:
  • Extensive interview with Academy Award winning special effects artist Alec Gillis
  • Interview with production designer Leslie Dilley
  • Interview with concept artist William Stout
  • Featurette on Tobe Hooper and Cannon Films with ex-Golan and Globus associate David Del Valle
