Waited over a year for The French Dispatch and it ends up being a barebones disc for £15, I should have just imported it last year.

Regarding Sleepy Hollow, it’s possibly a new transfer/master for this edition as it’s now available in a 4k version digitally! I was going to buy it as it’s around a fiver but just waiting until I have the time to watch it.

I do wish Tim Burton would return to something like Sleepy Hollow. That dark gothic style. His last truly great film for me was Sweeney Todd.

Read the reverse sleeve on Amazon and there's no mention of it being a new transfer.

They usually like to big these things up.

All this recent Avatar 2 talk has reminded me, there's still no trace of a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Not that I'm bothered but I'm guessing that they want all the Disney+ subscriptions.

Would have thought that James Cameron might have insisted on it being released on physical media.

Also after looking on the coming soon page on HMV, it appears that Wanted Dead Or Alive and Gothic are coming out as well as American Flyers and Matador (Warner Bros Archive Collection)

There's a fair bit of happiness over in the BFI thread regarding Gothic's impending release.

Is Cameron that worried about physical media? I've been waiting for a decent release of The Abyss forever. True Lies is another that's long long overdue a UK blu.

I still have the original 2 disc dvd of The Abyss that came out around 2001. Even that release didn't have the decency to have a proper wide-screen transfer.
