So true Nos, Hackman and Beatty were great. If only Beatty had done Superman IV instead of Jon Cryer. It might have made it a little bit more tolerable.

I probably have seen all the Superman films at some point in my life, but I can't remember when or what happens in the last two -- I've seen the first two quite recently, with Superman II on HD DVD! Something for Lovefilm I think.

You really don't want to remember much about Superman IV.

That Cigar Box Collector's Edition Blu-ray set looks awesome and it's slightly cheaper at Zavvi (£43.95). The urge to pre-order is killing me!

It is a masterpiece and probably Coppola's best film after the first two Godfather movies and I say that with the greatest of respect for Apocalypse Now and some of his other brilliant films.

Incase anyone hasn't seen it. Here's the steelbook. I'd prefer to have the original iconic artwork tbh.
