Just watched Flash Gordon on bd,the Canal Plus version.
It looked nice but a bit bright maybe...

Enjoyed watching it again but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece.

The sets and effects are very good though.

sorry nos, gotta do this....Brian De Palmer directed Scarface and it was written by Oliver Stone. Coppola had nothing to do with it....i know it sounds as though im nitpicking...sorry

This must be one of the many misunderstandings that come with written communication (especially on a forum) as that comment was actually about The Conversation, not Scarface!

I'm not sure, but I know Optimum have delayed a few of their forthcoming Blu-Ray releases recently; Don't Look Now and The Man Who Fell to Earth included.

It's been brought forward to the 4th I think, Nos - Amazon e-mailed me the other day to let me know.

It was originally slated for release in March, though.
