Still remember picking up American hippie after waiting years for it. Grindhouse have a reputation for delayed releases. Hopefully this is behind them as when they do surface they are usually great quality. The American hippie, Corruption and Big Gundown releases are all first rate.

Twilight Time has confirmed that Wild At Heart will be the censored R-rated version. I'll just keep my money then, buy the original UK dvd.

To watch the whole film in SD rather than director-supervised HD is just daft considering nothing's even been cut from the film, only smoke added to a split-second shot, and Lynch is happy with it.

How is that daft? Cut or not, it still was censored to recieve an R-rating. Until the special edition dvd, only the US got this version, we got it uncensored. I'd rather have it "uncut" on dvd than a sanitized version on BD.

It's censored! You can try and justify that by saying it isn't cut, or director approved all you want. You're acting like dvd is shit quality. Why would I buy a censored film just becsuse it's in HD?
