Damn the video !.The dvd is the extended cut though it does give one embarassing line of dialogue to the male vampire at the climax (mute in the Guild video)which should've been left out.I also think the dvd loses a line after the imprisoned zombie explodes,as it rushes towards Frank Finlay.A 2-disc version of both cuts would've been really great.A nice throwback to the old Kneale Quatermass serials/films with added gore & nudity. The video is about 97 minutes long while the dvd runs over 111 minutes showing more space footage too.I'm sure Mathilda May won a huge cult following with this film.

Multiple Maniacs

Can't say I actually enjoyed the film but for those interested in such matters the film is very unlikely to be cut by the BBFC today. In 1990 it was cut by nearly 5m to remove a scene that would be extremely difficult to describe here.

I have the double bill boxed set & Village and the slightly disappointing Children are very good examples of british sci-fi at its best.

Yeah loops but it seems they have cancelled my order. Looks like CEX online is no better than CEX. They can't find the disc!

I thought I had found the bargain of the century!

I'm sure they just say that so they get the film for themselves. It only ever seems like the rare films I try to buy go missing from CEX. Hmmmmm...

I always get ID'd in CEX never have any trouble anywhere else. It gets a bit annoying after a while, what with being 23 years old and all
