The Dutch DVD is uncut.

The BBFC cut heavily into the film to remove scenes of very strong violence and sexualised torture directed at women. Even with the cuts the violence is still very strong but obviously the violence directed at the male characters is always going to be more acceptabe and was passed.

The cuts to the film today however should be quite minimal.

For its HK rating the film was even more heavily cut.

Angel is spot on

The Dutch DVD is the best version to get as the UK version is cut to ribbons

There are 3 on Ebay at the moment if you have an account

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DVD-Ichi-The-K...3A1|240%3A1318

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ichi-The-Kille...3A1|240%3A1318

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ICHI-The-Kille...3A1|240%3A1318

But be warned! It is a bit extreme!

Thats best thing about 2nd hand, charity shops. car boot sales etc etc u can get things dirt cheap.
There just selling things 4 a few pence r pounds unaware the value of things
I once bought Band of brothers tv series on dvd for £8 6wk after its general release from a 2nd hand shop, it still cost around 20 30 quid even now 6 7 yrs later
