Finally got round to watching my Arrow BD of Tenebrae earlier, such a great film and one of my favourite scores from the members of Goblin. I can see why people have complained about this release from Arrow, I however wasn't overly bothered by it and considering the relatively small price of £7 I paid for it months ago, I can live with it.

Watching a little known American film about 4 people surviving the zombie apocalypse inside a shopping mall now, first time this month

Spent this afternoon watching the Prism version of John Woo's "Hard Boiled"

A great film, but it is let down by the subtitles, which are about a second out of sync during the last 30 minutes or so, which really ruins things

I saw this film on an ex-rental VHS over 10 years ago and hated it but luckily I gave the film another day in court when I grabbed it off BBC4 a few months back - finally watched it last night and enjoyed it immensely. I've always been no more than an admirer of The Who but I must check out the album that inspired the film. In the meantime, there's a Criterion Blu on the way. What with this and Radio On, Dune and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, someone might think I was a Sting fan...he does seem to get around.

Many thanks Suzi, I'm gonna sit down with that one when I get a bit of quiet time... All this business has me thinking if I should revisit Alan Parker's film of The Wall, another rock film I hated back in the day...

Not seen any of those (yup, not even Dune ), but he was really good in Brimstone & Treacle, kind of Malcolm McDowell-lite . . .

Remind me to go to the bar (in another pub) at the start of your second set then.
