Xtro
Hadn't seen this in years and was a little disappointed. There's plenty of weird stuff going on and a memorable scene or two, but I just felt it was a bit...crap.Still, I'm glad I got it in my collection and the DVD was dirt cheap. The Harry Bromley Davenport interview was worth the £3.74 I paid for the disc alone.

i think so! its way over the top and the acting is a bit naff but i think it all adds to the charm of it, it has some great death scenes in it and an extremly brutal rape scene also. its a great laugh (apart from the rape) i loved it

Ghosts of Sodom - dull boring effort from Fulci that plays like soft porn rather than horror.

Murder Secret
- Much better! Thought this would be a load of crap but turned out to be rather good. Great score as well.

Watching both of these films was like watching Cat in the Brain as most those films gore/ sex scenes found their way into Cat.

Watched RITUALS and JUST BEFORE DAWN back-to-back last night.
Rituals was very Deliverance-like with less violence, but was still rather enjoyable. However, the copy I bought on the Synergy label was as bad as a twentieth-generation VHS,with the night scenes rendered almost unwatchable.
I reckon this little psycho-in-the woods shocker needs a decent, uncut release.

Yeah Murder Secret is great ... a hidden gem IMO.

Have you seen Touch of Death, loops? Scenes of which are also heavily featured in Cat.
