+1. As I said, I thought it was Zombie channeling both Argento and Ken Russell - I thought it was very good indeed and will certainly be buying the blu. It's quite a departure from his past work though - a good move in my opinion, as I found the Halloween films grating.

Urban legend

Nothing we haven't seen a hundred times before but enjoyed it and like most of these movies not hard to guess who the killer is. Added bonus of Robert Englund. 7/10

Dawn of the dead (theatrical version)

Nothing I can added that haven't already been said about this classic, apart it must of been immense fun to make and what a wonderful moustache Tom savini had. 9.5/10

Edit

Just about too watch the hunger hope its a good as people keep telling me

Night 2: I made it about 60 minutes in. Only an hour and a half to go . It is a decent film (so far), just the heat and tiredness working against me . . .

Finished the hunger and all I can say amazing, very stylish and atmospheric, and another movie where I didn't agree with roger ebert! The only thing is I'm confused by the ending, if she's dead and all her lovers turned ash, how are both her and Susan Sarandon characters alive, did I miss something? 9/10

watched V/H/S last night, the start of it was a bit boring and I couldn't care about those guys smashing houses and that, but after the first film came on then it got good. Wasn't as good as I was hoping but regardless of that one of the best found footage films I've seen in a while.
