A multi review where i actually own and love all the films.

Never happens when that Teardrop fella reviews stuff.

Same here, with the exception of Dangerous Crossing, which I've never seen. Sounds quite interesting though.

I have a region one set with it, Laura, Black Widow and Call Northside 777.

It's a fantastic set where all four films are 5 star movies.

Well worth picking up if you don't own them.

I really enjoyed that until it took a sharp left turn and went all trippy with Angelica Houston.

From 1958 - part 1
The Revenge of Frankenstein - imo not as good as the first in the franchise.
Dracula - First and best in Hammers Dracula series.
Hercules - Steve Reeves dons the loincloth of the Demigod in what has to be one of the dullest movies I've ever seen!
South Pacific - Just awful! I'm sure its regarded as a classic but its not just awful its bloody awful. "Happy talking talking happy talk" yeah right!
Gigi - This is more like it, Maurice Chavalier singing "Thank Heavens for little girls" Jeeze thats sounded a little '70's radio DJ' didnt it!
The Young Lions - Bored me when I originally saw it years ago but quite enjoyed it this time.
Les Bijoutiers du Clair de Lune - Another Vadim/Bardot collaboration, not bad.
The Big Country - Great movie with a great theme tune...somwhat ruined a few years back when Steps sampled it.
The Blob - Now this just did nothing for me, I remember seeing it as a kid and liking it but now its just too off beat for me.
A Night to Remember - The best of the 'Titanic' movies I've seen so far. The German version was nothing but a propaganda exercise blaming greedy British capitalists for the disaster, the American 50's version was too much soap opera and although I like Cameron's version its does have its faults, but this British version really hit the mark for me.
Mon Oncle - My first Jacques Tati movie and it wasn't too bad, quite clever and I did chuckle a few times.

I haven't seen it, but it looks like worth it for the cover art alone.

I was the one telling Nordic to buy it in the first place.
Very true I only watched it because of Dems recommendation.

It's a long neglected classic!

Seriously though, it actually lives up to the expression "so bad it's good" title
