Mate i would say if you like Middle Earth and all that hobbit shit you will LOVE this movie - if you find yourself not fussed then this film will be dull, under edited, full of under developed and meaningless romance plots and the colour green.

I loved it.

Even the set design and costumes looked like something from a pretty cheap Hammer film from the 1960s – easily the least disappointing part of the entire film.

I can only guess it's because you've seen so much cheap direct-to-DVD crap recently that you found Dracula in any way tolerable!
The film snob speaks.

I really didn't like Surveillance much. The twist was predictable even to me.

Nice to see a proper review of Argento's Dracula Dem, rather than just 'it was f**king shite' like most people.
I too found it weirdly miscast and bizarrely directed, but also strangely entertaining if you're in the right mood.
I prefer it to 'Giallo', and 'Phantom of the Opera' but unlike you actually quite like 'Trauma'.

I think the Lord of the Rings films are brilliant – the Hobbit ones less so – but generally really enjoyable, so I will try and keep an open mind for when I (hopefully) see it this coming week.
