Have you seen it's opening weekend figures?

Stunning -

$204.6m US - second largest opening ever...

$307m worldwide

$511.8m total opening weekend.

Jurassic World (2015) - Box Office Mojo

I bet there's a sequel.

Be interested to read your verdict Nos. Also worth mentioning that i watched it in 3D and given the potential there was to abuse the 3D concept there wasn't much in the way of dinosaurs jumping out of the screen for no particular reason.

I keep meaning to write my own review of this because I thought it was brilliant. Have you listened to the commentary? If not, it's well worth your time.
I think I'll be upgrading this one to Blu-ray as well. Commentary WILL be getting a listen at some point. I would really be interested if he was trying to say something about the acting process with this film. The whole theme of performance and maintaining a role was very interesting.

I dislike 3-D because it has caused migraines and eye strain in the past so, if possible, I'll watch it in 2-D.

I like to watch films in the cinema in 3D whenever possible however i hate it when a film has clearly been made with 3D in mind. Or when the 3D is poorly done. The Clash of the Titans remake springs to mind, blurry wobbly fuzzy 3D. Pacific Rim is another, while i adore the film the 3D was surprisingly bad i thought. Marvel normally get it right and Jurassic World did it seamlessly.

Decided what with Sir Christopher Lee's sad passing to watch something with him last night.
I settled on 1972's Horror Express.
I loved this film when i was younger and even though it's been on my shelf for years I'd not watched it since i bought it.
Unfortunately it wasn't all i remembered though the poor quality dvd and the numerous interruptions last night probably didn't help.
Does anyone have the US blu ray?

Looking forward to seeing this. And, yes, I did indeed watch El Conde Dracula (1970) as a partial tribute to CL. Also listened to him reading the Stoker stuff after, very good!!

Also noticed that THC are showing Something Evil (1976?) at the moment. Liked what I saw, will catch it either tomorrow or Sunday (they repeat stuff loads which is handy sometimes!!)

The picture on my UK disc isn't too bad. The one that Mill Creek have floating around is practically unwatchable.
