Recently watched Two Evil Eyes - Thought it was pretty solid and enjoyable, but not amazing.

I watched Long Weekend (remake) Last night - Mixed feelings on it, but I generally enjoyed it.

Take The Money And Run

Woody Allen's films never cease to entertain me and this is one of his earliest & funniest.

That's the one. Some sidesplitting scenes and dialogue in that one.

"After fifteen minutes I wanted to marry her, and after half an hour I completely gave up the idea of stealing her purse."

Yeah, the music is undeniably Jay Chattaway! Which is a very good thing Love it!

Watched one of my favourite films last night. Not horror, not even a thriller or action movie, but a comedy, and a great one at that.Don't know if anyone on here has seen it or even heard of it.Let It Ride.A movie about a gambler,Jay Trotter (Richard Dreyfuss) having,as he puts it himself,"a very good day" at the racecourse. The film features some great performances from Robbie Coltrane as the cashier at the betting window,David Johannsen as Trotters buddy,Loony.Jennifer Tilly ( looking deliciously edidble ) and not least from Dreyfuss, who gives Trotter an instant likeability as the everyman who never catches a break and just wants that one big win. It's a pity the film wasn't more successful as it's a gem of a movie.Go seek out a copy people.you won't regret it.

If my recommendation gets even one more person seeing this great film then my work is done.

Right in which case I need to return the favour. Problem is you'll most probably have already seen it.
How about Man Bites Dog? You seen that yet? If not then you must, it's this brilliant but very dark comedy.
I won't go on about it in case you already know about it but you must see it. It's genius!
