I watched "Wrong turn at Tahoe" this morning, a good, violent thriller with Cuba Gooding Jnr and Harvey Keitel. Right now I have on the Deep Red BD on commentary.

Robocop 3 is about as bad as sequels get. It ranks there with Superman 4!

Have just watched 'Martys', 'Inside' and 'Murder Set Pieces'. MSP was not good, plotless movies do nothing for me. 'Inside' is without doubt the bloodiest movie I have ever seen ( I am a bit of a novice though ). It was gripping and tense throughout and I enjoyed it - had to avert my gaze for a few seconds. 'Martyrs' was excellent - had a good blend of themes I enjoy (conspiracy, terror and gore).

I heard of a French movie about an incestuous butcher, anyone remember the name or recommend it?

Most likely it's Gasper Noe's I Stand Alone.

I would definitely recommend it.

Just watched

Scott Pilgrim on BD

I was absolutley blown away! What an incredibly original movie, great script, great direction, great sfx .... very stylish and impressive. However, being as the Yanks will no doubt have not got it at all, there is no wonder it tanked so bad!

Stunning!

"You just headbutted my boyfriend and made him explode!"

"You knocked the blue hair dye from her hair!"

I've never seen Robocop 3 as I enjoyed the first two and heard terrible things about the second sequel so didn't want my fond memories to be sullied.

Ya know what I kinda found Robocop 3 strangely enjoyable. I am surely in the minority, but I think that kid from 2 made me feel "they can't get any worse!"

127 Hours at the cinema. Very entertaining, despite the underage children laughing, kicking the seats and looking at facebook mobile throughout the damn thing.
