I watched. ..Frozen .fIlms like this i enjoy irrelivent to wether the films any good or made well...Because films like these keep me on edge of my seat due to the fact it could possible happen in real life, and i put myself in that position and i sit there talking to myself saying Why did you do that or i wouldnt do that etc etc , films like these can be more terrifying than horrors like Exorcist..Evil Dead etc etc due to that fact it could possible happen to you,

Just finished watching the American series of ...Fear Itself, a follow up to masters of horror which should have been series 3,

Saw The Coen Brothers True Grit at the cinema last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot slower paced than I expected but truly a great film. 2011 has got off to a superb start with some of the recent cinema releases.
Haha yes thats what I meant!

Well worth seeing. Its quite delirious & very European. A fitting and unusual tribute to Poe.

I'm keen on watching TRUE GRIT but I want to watch the original first, its the only UK John Wayne western I haven't got yet on BD but its on my very long wishlist...

Last nite I watched

127 Hours

Typical Boyle stylish movie, lots of great imagery as normal. However once the arm trapping incident happened, there was a lot of .... well ... nothing.

Was OK ... won't bother watching again though.

There is a very small amount of stuff that you can do with the film when the only character is stuck in a crevasse when his arm is pinned to a wall! I thought it was utterly gripping and near the heights of Slumdog Millionaire. Each to their own though!

Yeah Nos, I guess it affects each viewer differently. It began fantastic, but then ... well ... I may just not have been for me. I doubt it will trouble the likes of the Coens at the Oscars though.

The only oI see sold winning is cinematography -- I'll make my picks before the ceremony and put them off on here to see how good I am at these things -- the past couple of years haven't been too bad.

Last night I watched Black Dynamite, a brilliant homage film to blaxploitation cinema, Toy Story 3, which just gets better with every viewing and Fight Club which looks and sounds even better on Blu-ray.

I watched Spirits last night and I did enjoy it. The Toby Dammit third was one of the most surreal and tripped out scenes in a film I've ever watched. It was like David Lynch on Acid! Crazy stuff, it made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was in a nightmare.

I then felt I needed a trip back to reality so decided to watch some kind of mindless film and stuck on Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. What I expected to be low budget tat actually turned out to be a really really good film. It had fantastic fight choreography, wonderful location shots of Thailand and Hong Kong. Good acting and an interesting story, I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. I picked it up in Pounldland the other week so it really was a bargain too.
The only thing that let it down for me was Chris Klein who overacted his way through it but that besides, very enjoyable, especially if you're a fan of the game. You'll enjoy seeing certain characters. Oh and there's some nice totty too
