So nearly 20 years later I've finally seen it and, if I'm honest, I'm in no great rush to see it again. Only way I would pick up the Arrow Video dvd of this is if it was going cheap, and that would only be for the commentary with Allan Bryce. I've seen hundreds of slasher films before, but this really had nothing going for it at all (except maybe Terry from Emmerdale's bad American accent). 3/10
I saw it for the first time on Friday night, as you say it really is poor. The acting is awful. Caroline Munro is one of the worst culprits imo. She does improve in the last fifteen minutes though.

The sports teacher was just plain embarrassing.

Yeah, the sports teacher was shocking, I know these types of films aren't exactly known for their Oscar winning performances, but he was clearly a crew member, drafted in to read a few lines

Watched Bonded by Blood over the weekend and I must say that I was very impressed. It concerns the true-life story of the infamous Essex Boys, Tony Tucker, Pat Tate and Craig Rolfe. It stars Tamer Hassan and Terry Stone aka Terry Turbo (if you know what I mean) in the Tucker and Tate roles and they are superb. Add to that a steller supporting cast that never makes the film look less than totally convincing you have a great hour and a halfs entertainment. The commentary track alone makes it worth buying, with Terry Stone giving out some of the funnist one liners that I have heard in a long time. Recommended.

I watched Dead Set again on Saturday, and with all the ad breaks etc taken out, it does flow better and more film like. Great central performances, a genius set up and cracking writing means that it's got better from when I first saw it. Top stuff.

Superb show and really deserves the Blu-ray treatment in the UK too, I see that Spain have (or are getting) the Blu-ray debut though

"Hatchet 2". Vast improvement over the first one but I still found it lacking in excitement.
