Inception - it's basically 'Flatliners' with bells and whistles.

I'm kidding, it's brilliant.

Reign of Assassins - always nice to watch Michelle Yeoh, but this could easily be improved by being 45 minutes shorter.

Just watched

Prom Night 2 - Hello Mary Lou

Well it hasn't aged too well! 1987 and certainly looks it! At times the "fashion" looked like I was watching a Cyndi Lauper pop video ... eeek!
The limited budget is obvious throughout the film, and as a result has very few decent effects. However, it holds a soft spot in my heart so I am glad it is back in my collection.

SOLOMON KANE: Very entertaining film with drop dead stunning scenery (especially on BD), lots of desolate winter shots; snow, rain, etc...great cinematography. Purefoy seems a decent actor, this is the first film I have seen with him in.

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 - actually enjoyed this, it was really quite brutal at parts though!
Friday the 13th Parts 2 and 3. - enjoyed them, now to watch the rest of the series.

Watched Warlock last night. Hadn't seen this for years but I still really enjoyed it.

Just watched The Deceptive Horror Of Mario Bava. This was interessting and shows Bava to be a respected director who at points, was ahead of his time. I will have to see some of his films now as I have only seen Bay of blood.

Just watched

Terminator Salvation on BR

Certianly better than the first time I saw it! Sumptuous on BR ... certainly demo material. Think I pissed the neighbours of with the subwoofer! Never mind!

thats annoying!
I loved first 2, need to see 3rd soon.
They are already quite long at over 2 and half hours each.

I cant wait for Zombieland 2. They said they will be another awesome cameo in part 2.
Its being made by same director as first as both main leads will be back for the 2nd.

Good man.

I may be biased as a fan of the Howard stories, but I think Solomon Kane is a mystifyingly under-rated film. Certainly one of my ten best of the last year.

Having time to reflect, Zombieland was more than ok. I watched it after Walking dead, so maybe I was on zombie overload Anyway if Woody is in part 2 then I will watch for sure
