I'd say the Adamson footage was fun,the original Filipino movie at least well made (from the looks of it) and Sherman's footage nutty but the finished film was actually a big bore imho.

Was planning on watching some movies today but had to disinfect my computer (mall/ad ware etc)...
Everything seems to be running fine now though so I'll hopefully be able to watch something tonight.
I have Brides of Blood, another Filipino film from the same era. - Great fun it is too.

I totally forgot that I had a copy of 5 Deadly Venoms, so yesterday I decided to watch it. Its awsome, I love the atomosphere, the kung fu, the story Shaw Brothers are pretty hard to beat when it comes to martial arts films.

Also saw Hangover 2 and X-Men First Class at the cinema recently. Hangover was funny, but it was pretty much beat for beat the first film, so I didnt enjoy it as much as the part 1.

X-Men First Class was really cool, my GF is a huge fan of James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, so she was in her element. If you like X-Men it's definately worth a watch and totally makes up for X-Men 3 & Wolverine

finally got around to watching Black Swan last night, it's an absolutely stunning film and no wonder Natalie Portman won the oscar for best actress. It starts off as this sort of arthouse flick then slowly turns into this really messed up psychological thriller that did remind me of Argento and De Palma.

Then i watched to lighten the mood, Risky Business, what a great early film from
Tom Cruise. Funny, dramatic, sexy and Rebecca De Mornay is quite cute as the hooker. Well worth a look.

Watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Rec 2 I really liked this one. Not wanting to use spoilers, so I'll just say I liked and was surprised by the direction the film took compared to the story of the Rec

Sacrilege! The Sixth Sense is one of the best written and directed horror films of the 1990s and The Shining is a true horror masterpiece.

Finally got round to watching my Buried BD today. Pretty good film, great performance from Ryan Reynolds.

Don't think I'd be bothered about watching it again though, so I think I'll be putting it up for trade on here.
