Appointment With Death (1989, Michael Winner) A Cannon Agatha Christie film. I'll let that sink in will I? Chuck stars as Poirot. No he bleedin' doesn't thank Cthulhu . Hutch and Carrie's mom scheme ... Winner gets smitten by Jenny Seagrove ... a host of faces vie for screen time. At NO point does (the) shiP get blown up . Restraint from Golam Globus?? Oy vey already!!

Final Destination A group of high school students and a teacher survive a plane accident. Unfortunately they are now getting killed off one by one by death himself. This film does have 3 redeeming qualities that keep it going. The first is a small appearance by Tony Todd, the second is a decent enough concept and the third are a couple of good deaths, you remove these three things then you have a very idiotic film that has nothing. 5/10 Sent from my MediaPad T1 8.0 Pro using Tapatalk

Black Christmas. A sorority house is plagued by obscene and weird phone calls over the Christmas season, and then a sorority sister disappears as the body of a schoolgirl is found in a nearby park. A maniac killer is stalking the sorority sisters and may be closer than they even realise in this bone-chilling mid 70s horror flick starring Olivia Hussey, Margot Kidder, Keir Dullea and John Saxon. A brilliant, eerie and genuinely unsettling slice of horror cinema that has lost none of its power to scare in the 44 years since its original release, Black Christmas was once a rather obscure cult favourite but was rediscovered in the 2000s when it finally made it onto wide home media release, and is now acknowledged for the classic it is. I've loved this flick for decades, and it's nice to finally have it on a rather super Blu ray too. |

Music to my ears iank!! Deathgasm (2017, Jason Lee Howden) Kiwi horror comedy. A metal band find an ancient melody has more power than a punchy chorus ... quite hamusing so far. Great Immortal spoof btw
