Oh I see! I wouldn't have recognised it as i'm not really into Pinky Violence myself. Watched the first half of the first Guinea Pig movie and, no, not for me. It IS a nice shade of pink though.

I haven't seen Guinea Pig movie (and I'm not really interested...), but I don't think they have much in common, besides the country of origin... I could be wrong, though.

Really? I do seem to recal the term being attached to the film...could just be me mind, so don't take my opinion as reliable by any means.

Pinky Violence is more about female delinquents and streetgangs but movies such as Lady Snowblood is sometimes considered a part of the genre too. Start with Girl Boss Guerilla and see if you like it

My blu-ray collection is expanding! None of the kiddies ones are in this shot, all downstairs now as we've had a mega reshuffle due to the house going on the market. I put 800 DVD's in the loft today!
