Ghost in the Shell is a very good character study, utelising religious imagery well (not to OTT like NGE) and has enough high concepts mixed with action set pieces to keep me entertained every time I watch it. I have only seen tBtwD more than once thanks to the legends at MST3K, one of there finest hours.
Have you ever watched it without the unfunny characters from MST3K?

I do love a late-arriving Christmas present... a few XT Video 3D Metalpaks! shame the pics don't do these much justice, the holocovers are brilliant!

Anyone seen any of the newer commentaries with the bloke from MST3K?

I have the LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS blu-ray from legend films, he's bloody awful. It was incredibly scripted and unfunny.

Joel or Mike? Not listened to any indipendent commentaries from them but MST3K is a classic TV series and some of there more recent projects (Cinema Titanica etc) are hilarious.

All my DVD's are in crates, ready for the move

Imagine 18 of these, full of films (approx. 2,250 titles), and THAT is mine (i)

Alternately, are you using sexual innuendo, and you want me to post a picture of THESE (ii)

*Note - No, THEY are not mine. Mine are bigger

**Note 2 - God help you, when I review this thread tomorrow, when I am sober!

'Unfunny' is opinion, I think there comedy gold. And yes, the first half and hour. Never again, riffing all the way.
