It made me wonder how the hell they got the old guy to act well if you can call it acting in this film. Some of what they had him doing was just wrong

GIVE EM THE TREATMENT.
If you like doddering performances from players who are deemed to have capacity but nonetheless just seem 'wrong' then you might like 'The Bride Of Frank', a real scuzzy indie horror which will leave you in need of a shower (unlike a hosing and a douche, which is the way 'Fantacide' left me feeling).

No problem. Just to let you know, the UK version, still going cheap on Amazon, is cut slightly (an eye-socket rape, which the BBFC obviously felt the need to protect us all from). Although I don't advocate for censored versions, I can't recommend paying over the odds for the now overpriced and OOP SubRosa disc. The 'beauty' of 'The Bride Of Frank' lies in its awful flea ridden ambience, not in a few gory bits, so you're just as well sticking with the Odeon release if you want to check it out.

I used to own the US DVD of The Bride of Frank but got rid of it a few years ago when I was having a rare 'collection de-clutter'. A shame as you could have had it otherwise.

For the bargain price for 50 odd euro

Were you not a fan you decided to part with it.
