Pete Walker is a mixed bag. He veers perilously close between genius and madness. Nevertheless, this is worth a watch. Whatever your persuasion.

Yeah, the likes of HOUSE OF WHIPCORD certainly deliver greatness but he's capable of utter cack such as the woeful DIE SCREAMING MARIANNE, though that does have a great title sequence

Pete Walker's films introduced me to the stunning Luan Peters. For that, I'll always be grateful but my favourite film of his is Frightmare. I can see how it influenced The League of Gentlemen.

Yeah Ms George was always worth a watch in her prime,as in Straw Dogs,Fright,Eye Witness and the sorely underated Venom.

Carol White was another British cracker.

I met Pete Walker a couple of weeks ago at a film fair in Camden and got the AB coffin boxset signed. A very nice guy. My fav would have to be Frightmare followed by House of Whipcord.

Tell us what your Walker flicks look like on Blu when you have the chance, Reaps. I'm especially interested in Frightmare.
