Class players score great goals when their team needs them.

Muppets miss 4 glorious first half chances and their team loses 2-0.

    Saw this joke today..

I met a fairy today who granted me one wish. "I want to live forever," I said. "Sorry," said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that." "Fine," I said, "I want to die when Spurs win anything." "You crafty ****!" said the fairy.

You seem to be in a minority of one concerning this chump of a ball boy. Even one of your former managers says he would have done it.

What got me was the kid just looked stroppy after the incident, then decided to roll around like he'd been badly beaten once he'd had a think about it.

So here we are, on to the second review in my '30s/'40s retrospective and still no mention of Universal Studios!

Based on a short story by Richard Connell, which I'll freely confess to having never read, while on a boat trip through potentially dangerous waters, a group of friends including famous big game hunter Robert Rainsford (Joel McCrae) are busy discussing recent exploits

No retrospective of the classics of the '30's and '40's would be complete without a mention of Dwain Esper's 'Maniac'. Esper is a legend in what can be termed as the 'Educational' movie. In actual fact, he was just a master at cheap exploitation, preying on people's paranoia of drugs, sex and whatever else he could potentially make a bit of cash from. You can achieve a small insight into the...

Welcome all to the blob's den. As i've mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of early talking horror, especially from the 1930's and 1940's. Yes, a lot of it is tame by anywhere near modern standards but these movies laid the ground for much of what was to come. You'll find the first ever official zombie movie, countless vampires, mad experiments, gothic tales and even some bona-fide pure exploitation. Some are so steeped in atmosphere that they still have the power to scare or at least send the odd...
