If I were 3 stands of nostril hair then I'd really love to get up the right wing fundamentalists noses the most. That way they'd have something more personal to fixate on and tap dance around instead

Moore is a true legend, as is Gibson. Frankly alot of people arguments seemed to boil down to "Oh, OUR Halo would never do that!" which is utter tosh. On a different note, am i the only one who thinks all of Edgintons story's are going to crossover soon? Crucis and Stickleback at least seem to be going that way.

Have you heard the uproar about the topless Halo Jones art cards by Ian Gibson? It sent alot of member on the board into a rage, but frankley I thought that was an example of nudity that was fine. Halo's a strong, well rounded character that was built up over years by Alan Moore and Gibson, I believe Moore even inteded for there to be more nudity but census wouldn't allow it. That's an instance where I can buy sexualisation, in character we can care about, not just eye candy from side characters.

Clint Langley is marmite to me, sometimes I love him, other time's I want to smash him on the ground. His drawn art for early Slaine and the recent ABC Warriors series was great, I even enjoy his photoshop jobs on The Volgan War. But I find it works far less effectively when humans are the center of it all. The cars and buildings, technology in AR are very appealing, but the photo-realism are just big put off for me. I just couldn't bring myself to look at his run on Slaine using Photo-realism. Besides that I'm finding AR to be a bit...well, sexist. There's alot of over sexualisation of young girls in it, girls my age sure but considering who this is made by anf what a portion of it's audience are I can't help but find it a bit sqeeky. Doesn't help that the characters (male and female) are all so bland I can barely remember any of there names.

No one stays dead in either of the big two universes. There about to kill Wolverine off...even though he can regenerate from a single cell. Yeah, cos' THATS not over powered. TBH, most people think it was a mistake to kill Johnny off, no one wanted to admit it because The Final Solution was just so good! Dredd was killed off and then resurected by Murd...just for lols. And we all know old stoney face only has about another decade in him before Wagner going to have to call it a day. The only example I can think of where the resurection occured seemingly because was Mean Machine. But the Judge Child was esstentialy jesus so...well, after Chaos Day there's such an abundance of orphan I think all four DJ's will have a punt, and even more interestingly, I hear a Wagner scripted Devlin Waugh story is in the works that will deal with The Sisters of Death, no doubt that will tie in in some way.

Fwiends, Womans and countwymen...Part 5

At about this time last year I started looking for old friends on FB. I found a few of them; Michael Claxton, Mick Lee and Lesley Paget were the main ones. I suppose I had best tell all and sundry where they "fit in!...

Having just moved from Shiregreen (S5 Sheffield postal area) to Wincobank (S9 Sheffield postal area)I decided to be "arsie" and go to Shiregreen Middle School (not TOO "arsie" though because

It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been avoiding you all because I needed to "sort my head out"! To do this I have been employing many methods; CBT (some use), Mindfullness (some use), Horticultural Therapy (in a big, peaceful garden, very useful), and a few courses (including 3-d printing and rustic stool making) with a lovely couple, Rachel and Steve, known as The Company of Makers https://www.companyofmakers.com/ (have a look at the stuff that Rachel produces out of old uniforms, she's...

Before I post this to my blog I would like to point out that I am not looking for sympathy, empathy or support, I'm just trying to explain my absence from the Lab.

Since being "retired" from work I have had too much time to wallow in self pity and the past, I have gone way passed the "self pity" part but the past has caught me up!

I have been experiencing a deep depression coupled with painful memories and have been diagnosed with PTSD. I am getting

Before continuing to bore the arses off of any passing labbers who haven't got the energy to click away with my riveting tales of school life I thought I'd give you a heads up on what troggi's cave is like!

To give you a bit of a geographical perspective anyone who has travelled by train to Portsmouth has probably seen our house. I suspect that Ms. Jackson has seen it many times when either approaching Fratton Station from Portsmouth & Southsea or leaving Fratton Station going

I am going to zip through this period of the late 1960s as there were few changes until 1970.

It was '67-'68 when I became a junior schoolboy and we had a pretty new young teacher called Miss Griffiths. She was obviously too pretty because she soon became mrs. something-or-other and had to leave to have a baby but for now she was our Miss Griffiths. She took us on a trip to the City Museum at Weston Park, near the Sheffield University Arts Tower and the Henderson's Relish Factory...
