Also, the odds of touring are about nil, being a one man band.

I have a few question about studios in general.

1) If I go into 1 and record 12/13 songs do they have a synthosiser to make my voice sound like T-Pain (I sound like James Arthur so I can't sing)

2) How much is studio time?

3) Do the CD copies look professional or do they look like a mixtape?

1. Most pop stars can't actually sing and have their vocals processed with autotune. I'm pretty sure most studios with be able to do this.

2. I've no idea to be honest. I recorded the EP in my spare room for basically zero cash.

3. I'm doing the CD's myself, so they'll be CD-r's and I've done all the artwork for it myself, again for next to no money.

Nope. I recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered it all myself. A mate of mine gave me some tips and advise, but apart from that, it's all my doing.

It's a wonder it turned out OK, because I didn't have a clue what I was doing really.

Ric is probably the best person to ask about studio's, because I think he works/has worked in one.
