I've listened the the Jungle Rot album since the post from a few days ago, I really like it, love that old school Death Thrash crossover sound.

Its my first Jungle Rot album I went old school and was attracted by the artwork

I only listened to a few tracks so far music sounds great but I'm on the fence with the vocals honestly sounds more NYC Hardcore than death metal really reminds me of Roger Miret of Agnostic Front.

I listened to a couple of tracks on the Jungle Rot album when you posted it Nordy and i didn't like the vocals. The music was great but the voice wasn't death metal. I didn't mention it as i didn't want to put down your purchase but now you've said the same thing i feel i can agree with you.

I didn't mind the vocals but I was expecting 'crossover' vocals anyway due to the artist description on apple music

I'm a hopeless romantic for the old days of blind buying albums but in the age of the internet and YouTube there is no point in blind buying when you can test and see if you like it first. Great artwork tho

Even just the name Jungle Rot I was expecting dirty gutteral vocals. Oh well.

Mentioning Borknagar reminds me i never bought their latest album True North.

I'm going to rectify that this week.

It was odd i was listening to stuff from the new Uriah Heep album - a band i should own more of - and then put on Borknagar's Up North video and thought i was still listening to Uriah Heep because they sound exactly the same.
