There is a band I also really rate called Portico Quartet, while they are led by a Saxophone it's not 'smooth jazz' and in fact along with the sax there is a double bass and 2 'Hang' players. A Hang is a new percussion instrument which sounds similar to a steel drum, and while that sounds quite bizarre in the context you should really try them out and see what you think. It really works well.

One of my favourites off the new album. Reflektor took quite a long time to grow on me, and even then some of the songs weren't as good as the older albums. Everything Now though is a return to form in my opinion. Great album!
