'True Love' was the last one of her albums that I got. I agree it's a good blues/jazz album, but I preferred her first four rockier releases - 'In the Heat of the Night', 'Crimes of Passion', 'Precious Time' and 'Get Nervous'

'Tropico', 'Seven the Hard Way' and 'Wide Awake in Dreamland' I found to be bland to the extreme, but 'True Love' was a step (back) in the right direction.

However, but by then I had entered the 'musical wilderness era'!

True Love is the only one i own. I bought Dreamland when it first came out on vinyl but lead single aside was unimpressed.

The first four albums are in one of those Original Album series five discs sets for a tenner so thought i might get that at some point.

That's not good! Music Magpie are usually pretty reliable, so I assume that you must have a postie with a decent taste in music.
