Been re-listening to The Doors 'American Prayer' it was made after Jim's death by the rest of the band, this is unlike anything you've heard... Part poetry-Part jam session-Part trippy send off to Jim. The way they play over him reading his poetry and prose is outstanding, tho he does go on about his penis a bit  . But the way it kinda evokes southern California is again outstanding. Probably the best of the "Stoner" albums, and with the lights off thru a good set-up it's like he's in the room(good production all round). Lizard King indeed.
