Black Boned Angel-"The Witch Must Be Killed", a rather groovy black metal drone type thing. Anworth Kirk and Demdike Stare-"Samhain Slant Azimuth". I'm not that greatest fan of Demdike Stare but this is pretty smart. A collection of "found" music and other bits and bobs that sounds like a mix of Italian horror/exploitation soundtracks, wyrd kids tv themes from 1970s, "The Blood on Satan's Claw" soundtrack and ghostly Victorian children. It's a little spooky! |

This week I've listened to the Tenebre soundtrack about 30 times! Just can't get bored of it. Also been re-listening to old Techno mixes that I did in preparation for a night that I'm playing at in October. Out of touch with new stuff these days since I stopped buying vinyl, but I always get goosebumps listening to stuff from yesteryear, particularly that 94-95 period when sets were 50-60% acid.
