I'd follow this up with (Never Give a Sucker) An Even Break by Sunny Murry, Echo by Dave Burrell, Mama Too Tight and Poem For Malcom by Archie Shepp and then go off into the proper deep end with some contemporary Free Jazz/ Improv.

Haha! I don't mind some experimental jazz stuff, especially Coltrane's later stuff. However, I'm not sure I'm ready for the deep end just yet, when I listened to Eric Dolphy's Out To Lunch album and felt like I had jumped into the Mariana Trench lol

I used to have that, not bad but once you explore jazz a bit...well you get attracted to odd things.

I've been enjoying oacis quite a bit, very minimal/subliminal but good for revising, probably deserves more of an effort than I can afford to give it at the mo!

You can give it as much or as little attention as you want.

Let me know what you think about the other stuff.
