I like early Queen, when they were a rock band

I lost interest when they became a pop band!

Don't you even like the excellent Innuendo album?

I bet you think Iron Maiden should never have ditched Di'Anno either.

The last wholly enjoyable album they made was 'Jazz'. After that, the synth became overused, and they lost the edge. The 'Innuendo' album does have a few good tracks on it, such as the title song and 'Headlong', but other than those, it doesn't really move me

Now we know how ill Freddie was when the album was being recorded, songs like 'I'm Going Slightly Mad', 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' and 'The Show Must Go On' take on an added poignancy

I do think that the first album and 'Killers' are both crackers, but I cannot imagine him being able to carry of the songs from '...The Beast' as well as Bruce does.

I actually saw Paul Dianno's Battlezone live in the late 80's, and the Maiden songs he played were much better than the bands own material

Nice one, Susan.

I would have liked to have seen him on his own. I used to have one of his solo albums. I think it was called Murder One. It was okay, i don't own it anymore though.

It's a shame he never really made it on his own. Perhaps it goes to show he wasn't a great writer of music.

I saw this before, but I'm already going to see a show on the same day as the Manchester gig so it's already decided for me that I can't go.
